Love it
I was wondering about her green hueβ¦ but I decided that itβs symbolic that /she/ is the true Synthesis, which is why Shepard chose Destroy.

Mmm. I like her emotions. I see that she's nostalgic because had never know her father, and slightly angry about it.
Fav.

I thought it was Shiala at first. Which woulda been cool, since I 'ship the hell out of Shepard/Shiala.

Whoa. I was thinking about writing a fanfiction about life after ME3, with Liara and Shepard's daughter as the main hero. Shepard would be gone (But kind of a part of the daughter since would use the synthesis ending as a base and, if the synth worked the way i think it did, then some part of shepard is merged with everyone along with the tech/organic parts.) and someone would be raising havoc with old reaper tech. Seeing the need for a hero the galaxy could get behind, the council and the alliance military( now including all known races in the galaxy, thanks to the melding effect of the war) woul appoint Krinda ( an asari word i made up and it means guardian), Shepard and Liara's daughter, as the head of a strike team to head to deal with it. Of course the kids/descendants of the old ME characters would be a part of the team. Anywho, could i use this as the base for that story?

that must be the prettiest asari child in all existence. Glob what a sad piece though. what's that red smudge on the window, or is it part of the reflection? it looks like blood...AGH this is heartbreaking, can you imagine having the saviour of the galaxy for a dad but never ever meeting her coz she died doing the saving? i am not kidding, she might just be the prettiest child ever for reals, i just wanna keep staring forever. she totally looks like Liara and Shep. :') i love the reflection too, it looks really good. what's the tattoo mean though? Those eyes look positively LUMINOUS. what age would you say she is in asari and human years? I bet everybody of the old crew would hang out with her and tell her stories and stuff surely.

tilhe In reply to NeverEverFaceTheDark [2012-10-30 11:29:39 +0000 UTC]
It's heartbreaking I agree, that's why I never continued drawing her in the universe where Shepard was dead, it hurt too much :I
The age, hmm, good question, I would say in human years she would be anywhere between 12-18? In asari years though... hard to estimate because I have no idea when asari stop looking like teenagers
That tattoo took the longest time to come up with I swear xD I wanted to reference too many ingame things, plus remind you of Shepard's hair, fire of the war, distorted reaper frame, distorted paragon logo pierced by tiny renegade logo parts. In the end no one picked up on what went into the final thing so I guess I went too far distorting things lol, but I think it still looks kinda neat.
And yeah I bet any of the Normandy's crew would want to tell her just how great of a person her dad was, and how horrifying she was on a dancefloor xD
Really happy you like how the picture turned out, thank you very much for the kind words C:

I've always found this as a sad part of being an Asari.
Put yourself in an Asari's footsteps, you can very well live to be 1000 years old or maybe a little older. You go through you're stages and finally find someone you want to bond with and have children with. If you're bond mate isn't another Asari it's likely you'll outlive them. Plus you're children will have to live knowing even though their younger than their father, they will outlive him/her.
I honestly can't see Liara bonding to another person once {or if} bonded to Shepard and then he/she's gone.

tilhe In reply to Marie-Scalereader [2012-09-25 23:34:36 +0000 UTC]
Agreed, if you think about it it's downright tragic.
That's why I just can't imagine what will their future hold in 30-40 years, even if Shep survives. I just... refuse to ;__;

Marie-Scalereader In reply to tilhe [2012-09-26 00:38:48 +0000 UTC]
If I was an Asari I'd think I'd just kill myself after my bond-mate dies, If I didn't have daughters. Or take a crap load of Pictures or Videos. Also with a camera, recorder glued to my hand.
I mean others might think differently, but I'm just that type of person. Well I'm like Liara, but I'm only interested in guys. Once I'm married to someone I just can't imagine marrying another once my partner died.

CashSeville In reply to tilhe [2012-11-06 03:02:55 +0000 UTC]
That's in human years, right? the asari equivalent would be, what? eighty? Liara is 109 during ME3, and acts like a woman in her twenties, so i assume 100 to 200 would be like 20 to 30 for an asari. So, the equivalent for 18 woud be like 80 or so, right?
π: 0 β©: 1
tilhe In reply to CashSeville [2012-11-11 04:44:05 +0000 UTC]
I really doubt you can find some equivalent and just convert human yers into asari years. they may live for 1k years but their childhood might last not much longer than humans. Same goes for them being teens. I mean... they don't even grow old like humans do, so... We just don't know \o/
