There is a beautiful feeling going on about. The lighting is subtle and just which brings out that gentle feeling on the princesses. It also enhances their regal and mystical nature at the same time.
Celestia's mane really gives out that "Don't fret" sensation. I'm also surprised you've truly shown her mane as it is, even without the sparkles! Luna's mane... can't be staggered with on its detail.
However! What bothers me most is Celestia's eye. If she's not looking at Luna, but instead with a bow of acceptance and grace, then it's alright. But if she is looking at Luna, she's looking at her at one head to the right.
Overall, the setting here is soothingly outstanding. Do keep it up!

I love the wings, especially Luna's. I just really like the idea of the ponies (even the pegasi) having large wings. I also like how you gave their heads a more equine shape that nevertheless still looks like their characcter design from the show.
...Am I the only one who wants to just give Luna a hug and an ear scritch?
