It's digitally drawn.
Tvpaint can imitate almost any traditional tool from charcoal to watercolor brush.

Nope.
Fast movements are easier to animate because lack of frames and less details in the paws. There's room for blurry motion and speedlines.
I recently discovered how to use watercolor as shading and blend it around to make realistic shading.
The technique is used in Beatrix Potter's works and old television series:

I really want (and should) record my workflow more often to keep visual diary and make tutorials, but when I do that over 50 seconds or stroke watercolor brush too far while using recording app, my old cheap tablet usually crashes.

Yes, I also look short gifs from image search because they are faster to play and work with.
I don't pay much mind in the skeletal structure, but try to get basic anatomy right.
I draw the key poses frame by frame and inbetween the gabs later trying to make each frame to look almost real.
I usually animate in two's. (2 frames per pose)
I want to try threes someday.
I study anatomy by doing 3D models in Blender and work as a volunteer in a animal shelter.
I started doing realictic animation because some people still think it's is just a medium for children and weeaboos and not an artform or a "real job" to be taken seriously. XD

Good points.
Hand drawing feels nice and natural way to work, but because
I want to keep everything in one place without mess I turn to computer.
Workplace also requires little changes and tweaks which are faster to do digitally.
I tried flash once and never opened it again. Same goes for Toonboom and Adobe Animate. Paintbucketing, tweening and rigging never worked out for me.
Bitmap gives so much freedom to do things.
Now famous anime studios like WIT and Trigger are considering using TVPaint over other mainstream vector-based programs.
When I was in school my teacher tried to make me choose any other profession than animation because it's not a real job and artists usually end up unemployed.
I lived in a farm and never afforded to go study animation but luckily internet is full of online classes, tutorials and ispiration.
There's always room to improve and always something new to learn. That makes this artform so fashinating.
