This is Kor, the Kreptis.

Kreptis are the living souls of the unfortunate being who passed away. When the souls not able to fully pass on, they take form of a Kreptis, the embodiment of their death, loss, obsession, pain or crime in life. They do not have a absolute form but prefer to be in the shape of whatever they want.

Kor happened to drown in the very lake she had been desperately trying to look for, and thus as a Kreptis is unable to be drawn away from or handle being away from a form of water for very long.
