I guess you could call this my Determinants of "HELL" (Health) series. These are the sets of RANDOM matchups i draw in my Determinants of health class.Sonic vs. Ed.
Ed could totally win because of his alchemy skill. But Sonic's fast enough to escape.

I think it would be close, but unless Ed could get Sonic very trapped (and we all know how hard that is) Sonic would win.Β Sonic has outstanding reflexes due to the speed his body travels, if he had a reaction time within human possibility, no matter how good it was, by the time he had seen an obstacle and processed that he needed to avoid it, he would have run into it long ago. Realistically, Sonic can not afford to crash at that speed, so I doubt he has reflexes that slow. By the time Ed's set up strap, unless it's very subtle, the same thing would happen. Sonic sees it, turns around and comes in from another direction, all before Ed can blink. While an excellent strategist and an alchemic genius, Ed barely be able to *see* Sonic, let alone keep up. Β Despite Ed having the size advantage and greater intelligence, his brain can't keep up with Sonic's feet.

ed: wait ._. wait hold on a sec. a blue hedgehog that can move loads faster than the speed of sound, even teh speed of light can talk =.= uses seven jewels to turn blonde and somehow invincible, collects golden rings and puts them who the hell knows where...........THIS DEFIES ALL LAWS OF EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!! is it like...some chimera?????????????? WHAT IS HAPPENING!!! -goes insane-

Oooh, that's a tough one. You're right that Ed has the power but that's useless if it never hits. I still think I'd bet on him over Sonic though. Ed's tougher
