I've had annoyingly little time to work on this since my last update - I'm in the middle of a three-day art A level exam at the moment, so doing that has been taking up a lot of my time. Or, trying to do it.
Though an oil painting appearing here may be the result if I can find a camera and photograph it before I have to give it in...Anyway. I detailed a bit more, worked on her hair and deepened contrast as much as I dared... I think her face is pretty much finished, though its gonna get pretty tweaked as I go along... such as moving the mouth to the left, cause that's really bugging me. This is the head at 100%, and since the picture is a full-body portrait, you can imagine how big it is.
Its roughly 5000x3000 I think.T'other version is going into scraps, where I put all my outdated WIPs. I used Photoshop CS, my Wacom Intuos tablet and a reference photo: [link]

if it's not too late, i would move her head down quite a bit. Remember, the eyes mark the half way point of the head, and since her head seems to tilt upward, the top half will be just a smidge shorter than the bottom. Everything else looks great, just the large top half bothers me. Try flipping it horizontally to get a different view of it.:]

Thankies! But I'm not too worried about blurring since her face is going to be nothing near this big in the final thing ('tis full body). And hmm, maybe I should make it clearer that the shadow under her nose is just a shadow and not part of the nostril, heh.

I was right now at the chat with devblackeri and she really gives you tons of points!!! It is great!! , but I think that , even if you get great points as blackeri gives to people , you just develope by yourself with your great artwork Lucy!!! This is just awesome , I really love the way you blend the colours and the way you get the realism to your work. I could never know how you do it!!

Just a type: her nose is a bit gone to one side and that gives her face a weird expression. Maybe you wanted it that way or maybe not , it was just for telling you. I may give a 10 for the eyes and her lips. Great job!!!
