I've never really drawn anything quite like this, but I figured i'd try to emulate a little of the style from the original drawing of the character.

Again, I played around with the photo editing a bit. I'm always disappointed with how my scanned sketches turn out, since I always feel that they look better in person, so i figured i'd try to make things a bit more dynamic looking.

Of course, this doesn't mean i'm just relying on effects- I've got to practice drawing a lot and improve my basic skills as much as possible. I see effects as just another level of aesthetics that can add to an image if used properly.

Anyway, i hope you like how it turned out .
