true

but G1 Megs was originaly made in the 70's as a mircoman toy before becoming a TF in the 80's

I remember the only Japanese Transformers cartoon I've seen a few episodes of that NEVER made it to the U.S. was Transformers: Victory. I think Optimus Prime only made ONE appearance in that one (in the first episode), and the Autobot leader in that series was named StarSabre....and they had the poorest excuse for Decepticons in said series (robot/dinosaur hybrids that break out in song periodically. Really pathetic). Of course, the episodes I've seen had no English subtitles, so I really had no clue what the hell was going on plot-wise in those few episodes.

Yepp, Transformers first came out in 1984

around 1991 they died out but 1992 came back with TF Gernetion 2

Then in 1995 with Beast Wars

The 1999 & 2000 with Beast Machines

Then 2001 with RiD (Robots in Disguise)

then 2002 with Armada

Then 2004 with Energon

Then 2005 with Cybertron

And now this year with Classics

too bad SS wings get in the way off posing when his guns are on his arms

that's why I sometime make ss hold them like hand guns

SHADOWPRIME In reply to Tiger-Prime [2006-10-27 16:30:33 +0000 UTC]

I think making ss hold the guns looks cooler, hey can you turn their wrists sideways so the gun is sideways.......it would make starscream look so badass

you know you can pull their legs apart, right? their feet may not always be flat on the "ground" but they stand fairly well in a lot of dynamic poses

The new toys STILL have those heat-sensitive decals? (the ones where you press your thumb on them to reveal their insignia of allegiance). I remember they started putting those on EVERY Transformers toy sold in the U.S. (don't know about Japan) in 1985.
