Description This always puzzled me-why is it the voice of OAK in GSC and even HGSS? The main player barely even knows Oak, let alone views him as a paragon of decision-making in his life!Puzzling...

P.S. The actual presence of a Pokemon(Wooper) in this Pokemon comic was a last-minute addition. At first it was just Gold and Oak's head, but I figured Gold should at least have some kind of Pokemon.

I always wondered about that too. What a strange way to tell people they can't use an item. They should just have a noise and "cannot be used here" or something as the result of misusing an item.
