Description
The Tau weapon masters are a rare breed of Fire Warrior, trained extensively in mid- to close-range combat, the veterans of many battles. They mostly hail from the planet of Vior'la, as befits their hot-blooded nature. They often accompany high-ranking members of the Water Caste or Ethereal Caste as part of a group of Fire Caste bodyguards.

They are legendary for their high resistance to radioactivity in most forms. This is induced by gradual exposure to Thorium and Actinium throughout training, which has (on more than one occasion) proven to be fatal for weaker trainees.

Though their methods are often looked down upon by most Fire Warriors as "crude", there is no doubting their brutal efficiency.

The thorium-cobalt alloy blade is extremely deadly. While thorium is fairly harmless if touching the skin, it is extremely dangerous when ingested or allowed into the blood-stream. The thorium is alloyed with the cobalt for durability.
