FYI Cro was an early 90s educational-type cartoon, based on a book. The mammoths were smart, the other cavemen were stupid or something...whatever, I barely watched it anyways.Related content

FYI(or anyone who cares)"Cro" was based on an educational-humor book called "The way things work" It showed the principals of simple machines like the lever and the wedge, and went on to more complex things like the VCR or TV. All of which used mammoths in one way or another in the example of its working.

oh my gosh....somebody besides me actually remembers this show! All I remember really is learning about fulcroms, and pulleys, but it was a pretty neat cartoon (although no Magic School Bus, or Bill Nye the Science Guy)

the whole show was told in flashback format by a talking Mammoth (Phil) who defrosted in some kids' backyard or something.
But I don't particularly remember it being educational. sure it encouraged kids to think for themselves but it' must've been a lot less blatant than modern edu-tainment shows leik Dora the Explorer and P,B&J Otter.
