I love how in all your CG's, the features REALLY pop out, and the color scheme is all warm and all fits together awesomely.

Nice You know, I bet you could push the volumes a bit more to make it even more striking. Do you work light to dark or vice versa?

Dark to light. I've been experimenting to see how light I can go with my base, so I tried carving this picture out of a medium brown. Low contrast really interests me for some reason But it's not very practical for more involved pieces.

Oh, I see XD My apologies for butting in, I think I do that more for your stuff than anyone elses (but its cuz you try the craziest/ awesomest things)

No no I like critique I don't get enough of it!

My favorite artist is Matt Dixon, and one element of his work that I love is his use of base colors and shadows that don't go to black. I try to emulate him something hardcore. But my style has a lot of kinks to work out still

No no I love critique, usually people don't bother

My favorite artist is Matt Dixon, and one aspect of his painting style is his distinctive base colors...I've been trying to emulate that because I love the light quality of his work. But he has this really striking way of painting, while I'm still working out the kinks in mine. I think it has to do with my unwillingness to venture too far into grey.

Oh she's so beautiful!

I'd love to be able to create art in that painterly style. Very beautiful.
