I like this piece a lot. The pose is a very challenging one, and you should be proud of taking it on. Overall it came out pretty good, but I agree with =hawkeye-maverick that her right shoulder looks dislocated because there is an extra length of flesh between where the end of her humerus would logically be (based on the length of her the forearm) and its natural attachment to the scapula. Other than the shoulder area, however, I think the shape of the arm came out great, and I also like how her hand looks against the ground.

The coloration is my favorite part. I especially love the stripes on her fur, and the unpenned realism of the foreground. The plants and pawprints have a lot of depth. And I really like the way the background came out with those distant tree silhouettes. You have a lot of skill, and it will be exciting watching you get better and better!

Keep up the great work.

I love the pattern on her fur and how you captured the detailing on it with the strokes. And her eyes look very life-like. Excellent posing too ^^
Just one anatomy flaw really: her right shoulder. Looks like it's dislocated. But shoulders are hard anyways
Still, excellent piece

Yeah you know I was thinking about it more and did a couple stick sketches, got into that pose and stuff. At first I thought maybe your entire balance point was off because her left leg is up so high. But that's actually all right because inflexible me could actually do it XD Since she's leaning a little to the right, turns out her shoulder should be scrunched up more to bear the weight, instead of being stretched out and her arm should be more under her. In order to balance properly, I had to put my hand a bit closer to my leg and that pushed my shoulder up closer to my jaw.
So breaking it down to what I think might be the reason it looks odd:
-the arm's too long which
-makes the hand too far from the body which
-stretches out the shoulder

But it's easier to say it all and another thing to do it XD
But hope that helps
