Tirga (stone statue of the weretiger) and Sheila (laughing werejaguar) are Fred Perry's characters.
Terra (the medusa girl) is based on my City of Heroes character Medusae
for those not familiar with Fred Perry's world, it has a high magic content. From what I know about his world setting, Petrification is painful but not necessarily permanent (there are plenty of healers capable of reversing it if the statue doesn't break)...and I've always had Terra weak at stoning people anyway, so Tirga will be fine....
which is why Shiela is amused instead horrified.
