Title double-meaning alert!
It means Dot Near is gardening, AND the gardening OF Dot Nears! 
This pic is dedicated to ~leatherfeathers because she and I invented this concept together. What concept, you say? The one of little Nears sprouting out of the ground wherever his dandelion-fluff-hair lands!

Near is from the anime/manga Death Note, and belongs to Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata.

Near will eat things like macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes and such, but you'll probably need to hold the spoon for him.

I looked at this a first time, kind of dazedly, and went 'Oh, how adorable! Little Dotty Near's doing some gardening. Must comment about how cute that is.'
And then I read your comment- and had to scroll back up to see it! I completely missed the little Nears growing in the ground!
I would tell you just how much I want to grow Nears in my garden, but I'm a terrible gardener. Everything I've ever grown has died on me.
