Umm, I thought 'Soapy' was a cute name for a squid
They're best friends who tell each other everything. And Soapy is not imaginary, dammit.
Inspired by the styles of Joe Sorren, Aaron Jasinski, Mark Ryden etc (the wide-eyed weirdness)
It's a play around with COLOUR! Oh man am I sick of low saturation and greyscale. Well, at least right now.

at the same time it's an interesting piece of art, I think it's good that you experiment with different colours and saturations as it all helps your creative pallete.
Did you know that squid can change colours to show different emotions so I guess he's whispering something tender in her ear.

This is very cute, but the squid seems to have more pathos than the girl.
Also, unless the squid is upporting her, her center line might want to be aligned with her left foot a little more.
Is that all right for critique? Or is this so old you don't want to look at it anymore?
