Felt we needed more General Lunaverse art lol

So I’m exploring a possible plot line in Lunaverse, not a big plot relevant one but a small one focusing on Jackson and Jay’s relationship in the group. I might make some follow up images to continue it soo... look out if I do that-

But for this one specificity let’s chat about it...
When Jay first joined the group it was very clear from the start he vocally didn’t respect most people in the household. He kinda had the idea that they have it easier and didn’t know what a real fight was and all that kinda thing. He actually though Xavier could’ve been different and posed a real challenge and be respectable, but after kicking Xavier’s ass he was disappointed. (If it wasn’t obvious, Jay very much values someone’s ability to navigate a fight then other skills)
now Jay would’ve never even thought to give someone like Jackson a chance. As far as he could see, Jackson was some naïve, esentric “kid” wearing a flashy, stupid costume and with no idea what real stakes and danger were. So when Jackson asked to spar for the fun of it, wanting just really badly to try and be friendly with Jay and knowing Jay likes fighting, Jay expected a pretty quick, boring encounter.
Their spar however yielded different results...
Despite Jackson’s seeming carefreeness even with Jay pulling a knife on him, Jackson would skillfully dodge and turn Jay’s attacks against him, even landing some of his own hits. All while keeping his same playful, goofy attitude. Jay was at a complete loss for words and after being knocked down and effectively losing the spar, it was even more bizarre for him to have Jackson just smile and offer him help up, commenting on how fun it was.
Needless to say, Jay was surprised to find he respected the goofy cartoon character more then anyone else he’d met in a long time.

Anyway I really like this picture XD Michie said with the sketch that it looked like a comic cover so I tried to make the background kinda “pop arty” and comicy and I actually like it a lot lol I’m just generally really happy with this pic as a whole and it was really fun!
