I recently started working with WildfireIllustration on possibly revamping Seven Sins and a Baby! Since the series kinda died ^^’ and it’s been super awesome to get a chance to redesign the sins, it’s brought me so much joy.
for a long time I’ve wanted to rework them, since their original designs were rather uninspired and not well thought out. I’m in love with my babies now that they’ve had their glow ups~

please please PLEASE go follow Flame because she’s amazing, and if/when any pages go up it will probably be on her page! Plus she has fantastic art and deserves all the love~

anyone, for anyone who’d like some character notes...

Greed, the sin of hoarding, avarice, and materialism

PERSONALITY
- Greed comes off to most people as charismatic and sociable, very comfortable in the middle of a room and starting a conversation
- Hes quite funny as well, while he does also indulge in the mean, rude, sarcastic, humor the rest of the group does, he’s also one of the few that tends to make more light hearted jokes Not at the others expense.
- In general he’s rather light hearted and not very serious, often with a lazy smile and a relaxed attitude/vibe
- He often uses hand gestures a lot when he talks like a LOT they’re almost always moving while he talks
- it’s very hard to make Greed mad, and even when he does get mad it’s often over other people than itself. Insults, accusations, and jokes made towards him almost never make him mad, in fact if he doesn’t just laugh them off, he’ll usually just become quiet or even try to leave the conversation entirely.

POWER DETAILS
- The running joke among the sins is Greed’s power is simply “FAST”, which is true as his main abilities involve very high dexterity and speed
- He can run extremely fast, so fast he’s often just a blur to the naked eye, although it only works in short bursts.
- This doesn’t just apply to running however, his hands can also move very fast.
- He also has very great agility, being able to jump extremely high as well as fall from great heights without being hurt much, even have a weird air of “slow falling” around him when he does.
- he has extremely sharp reflexes, even without realizing it

FUN FACTS
- The tallest of the sins at 6’5
- Unlike most of the group he doesn’t mind people knowing his face, if him blowing kisses to fans of his wasn't evident enough
- Died from being stabbed
- Is oddly uncomfortable about being shirtless in a group, in fact uncomfortable with talking about how he died in general hm...
- The bag he wears is actually a kind of bag of holding, an endless void of space so long as something can fit inside!

CURRENT RELATIONSHIPS TO OTHER CHARACTERS

Wrath - Loves to mess with Wrath and get on his nerves, only because it’s so easy. he doesn’t hate Wrath, but he sometimes gets in fights with him just because of how he treats Sloth sometimes. Greed can actually kick Wrath’s ass really fast when he wants to, he just Normally doesn’t.
Gluttony - He very much things Gluttony is fun to be around and loves to go be idiots together, however Gluttony also intimidates him a lot due to how fast she can snap and for some of the weird chaotic shit she does.
Envy - Like Wrath he sometimes likes that she’s easy to mess with, although the two of them end up hanging around each other a lot. He does actually give a lot of genuine compliments to her and really wants to break down that spiky exterior.
Sloth - One of his best friends, though only the two of them know why they got so close so fast... Regardless, Greed very much recognizes and respects that Sloth is mentally an adult and the two of them love to bounce their humor off of each other and make silly bets all the time.
Pride - Usually sees Pride as a bit of a joke, easy to mock but not very interesting. He often just wishes Pride would be a little more humble and stop being so defensive about everything. Greed often tells him people might like him more if he stopped acting so entitled.
Lust - Generally he loves Lust’s personally, however it’s very clear to the rest of the group he seems to have a lot more trust in Lust than everyone else does. He tends to be the first to defend Lust when Wrath comes after him.
