Truly the saddest moment in the anime was when Senketsu "died" at least physically.
I suppose he might be still out there in the final episode (25) Ryuko hears his voice and the scissor blade falls down from the sky. So, I'd like to think senketsu didn't actually die ;v
This moment though still makes me sad everytime
