A random music player concept inspired slightly by the new (beta) Gnome Music. Most of it was just experimenting with colours and trying new things.

i hope you submit the design to gnome design team. GtkHeaderBar widget should support tabs the same way on your design

I think Linked Toolbar/Headerbar buttons would be the way to implement this, and the arrow etc. would end up being theme dependant. In fact, I believe that is how most apps do it (e.g. Nautilus) but I would certainly like to see some sort of tabs (like Firefox style tabs) in Headerbar.

Nice, i like it.
But the buttons Play, Rew.,Forv., are too big i think.

Not sure about the shadow on the left side (playlist)... it looks a little bit strange for me

I think the bottom toolbar is still too big, if it was the same size as the headerbar it'd look better.
