This is what I was called all through elementary and middle school. I got contacts and wore them for years, and fell into the bad habit of wearing my disposables long past the date they were supposed to be changed (by years instead of days...), which cut off the oxygen supply and nearly killed my eyes. Well, as they say, bad habits can come back to haunt you... at a recent eye appointment, I was advised that due to my inability to follow the rules, I may now be having to primarily wear glasses for the rest of my life, as I am not a viable candidate for Lasik surgery. So, you may end up seeing a lot more of me in my spectacles.
