Hey everyone!I just got back from California today and just had to share this photo (more details about the trip to come in a journal entry
)...after the funeral was over, my family and I went to visit some old friends of my parents. We all sat in their living room while I tested out a new lens I got for Christmas (a 17-55 2.8 - it's totally awesome). This was a candid shot of one of our elderly friends. It's not the best portrait...but I thought it was a fun picture that captured the moment pretty well...he sure does like to laugh a lot Enjoy and have a happy new year!

Great shot here. Nothing better then seeing someone of age who is so happy. Considering everything their generation went through and yet to still find happiness should set an example to all of us that even in our hards time we have plenty to look forward too. Nice work as always and enjoy that new lens.
