Description I believe one of my most favorite things about Chun-li is that her fighting is more of an art form rather then straight out punching and kicking.
Chun-li adds a little more grace to the battle, like watching a dance that inflicts harm to her opponent. She's quite flexible, despite her size, which is great for people who want to try drawing her in complicated forms.
I want to make more attempts on her body positions, but I still need more practice with it. But I love how some artist work her techniques in such artistic fashion.

awesome work! this is exactly what I was talking about when I say I have a hard time drawing Chun-li because she always should have some kinda specific pose. it's not that hard but when I want to draw her in action it doesn't turn out well same goes for Spider-Man though I find him more difficult.

Chun-li & Spider-man I find to be some of the most difficult characters to draw out. Since their poses are rather complicated.
I often wanted to try drawing Chunners doing the Spinning Bird Kick, but I often can't get the pose down.

I can imagine the outcome of this pic.

Chun Li: OW MY LEG.....Help, i've fallen and i can't get up.

But seriously, cool picture.

I don't think Chun-li would have that problem, maybe someone like Makoto would get her leg stuck. lol

I've actually noticed that with Chun-li, that it has to take a lot of limber to do some of those kicks.

True, in fact to perform the majority of her abilities, she needs to stretch, bend and so on.
Which is a reason why she dresses in tight clothing like this.

You brought up a good point, I never really thought about her fighting style in that way.. But I think it's true if only more people put more thought into making their fighting styles more unique, I think it'd be more interesting to watch.

I really like the pose she's in, and the serious face shes having. But be happy that her leg can even reach that far.. I think a lot of peoples legs would be in pain. XD

Not many fighters in SF have a style like this. A few are rather artistic in their styles (Elena is a good example) but most are rather straight forward.

Chun-Li is very limber, which allows her to perform a number of moves without straining herself.
Heck, if someone grabbed her arm behind her, she can just high kick over her shoulder and knock him out. lol

Yes, Elena is also a good example of that, Makoto on the other hand, is.. VERY straight forward. XD

Indeed, I honestly wouldn't mind seeing her fight myself just as long as I'm not the one fighting. lol

But it's still all on the artists perception of the characters. I seen some artist do some great work with characters like Makoto.
just not so complicated like Chun. ^^

I'm not saying each character doesn't have little bit of a artist way of fighting (if that makes sense lol) I think they all do, but obviously not as much as Chun-Li

Chun-li is probably one of the most aspiring out of the list in either case. XD
