I mostly use brushes with high hardness. Combined with some smudging, it gives some kind of painterly look, and it's easier to have nice borders. Putting enough opacity helps too.

yep, nice 'modeling' (volume/character/pose) on your painting ; the painting clearly needs a bit of higher value to be read more easily, but this are only minor post-prod tweaks that can be done with a photo editing program. Congratz , good piece

Thanks, this kind of comments means a lot coming from a you.
I'm currently trying to overcome my difficulties with contrast, so I usually try not to use too much filters to avoid masking the flaws (weird, I know).
(Au passage, c'est sympa de voir que ton implication sur ce projet est toujours aussi importante après tout ce temps )

Now that gimp can work with .ora (with the plugin included natively in 2.7), it feels like the perfect duo for digital painting (or s&m in this case )
I don't think I'll change this picture though. I don't like to change old/finished picture. I'd feel bad afterwards XD

Γ§'aurait Γ©tΓ© mieux si on voyait pas les traits pour la peau et pis avec des stockings aussi et pis ptet un fond de vin dans le verre. sinon la robe est bien, la tete est bien, les proportions sont biensle bras gauche est bien, le bas des bottes est bien. j'ai un pb au niveau du haut des bottes a la jonction avec la peau et son annulaire de main droite qui me semble trop grand. et pis un meuble qui semble en bois et qui est gris Γ§a fait bizarre.

A vrai dire j'ai cherchΓ© Γ  avoir ces traits sur la peau, effet peinture tout Γ§a.
Pas pensΓ© au fond de vin, les bas aussi Γ§a aurait pu le faire mais bon.
