Right. :B I have lots of things I SHOULD be working on, but sometimes, man, SOMETIMES, when a sexy little bit of lineart comes along, you just CAN'T KEEP YER HANDS OFF. It was so CLEAN and PRETTY and EASY TO WORK WITH and - Butterflies, man, BUTTERFLY! <333 I love butterflies. n__n

Seriously, Queen's music makes the neatest colors and patterns in my head. :3 Example: I've NEVER heard a human voice that can be METALLIC - but Freddie's is. Nobody else's - I don't even know why, it's just something about the - quality, timbre, whatever you want to call it, the resonance, I don't even KNOW, but he can make silver and gold and all sorts of metallic or glassy-looking colors, when every other single damn voice in the WORLD I've heard is just straight, plain hues.
It's crazy. <3 Just one more reason to love it.

I don't want to say it, because I don't want to curse myself, but - I think some colors might be coming back. Textures, at least, although the textures never really left. So I'm on a Queen-spree. I found that my dad bought a CD of theirs (a greatest hits volume) at a garage sale. I stole it
I drew a lineart for you but then I colored it. It wasn't clean enough, anyhow.

I really love the colouring through the hair, it is oh so easy to get caught up in "OMFG, SO MANY LINES, BLOCK COLOUR!" But you have sheen, texture, and perfectly clean streaks of colour that run through it and make her look like a magical princess :3
I also like how soft her skin looks against the textures of her outfit!

Yeah, honestly the hair did scare me for just a bit, wondering how in the world I was going to shade/highlight all these different strands at least semi-realistically like I usually try to do... then just decided - EH! Let's forget REALISM, let's go for PRETTY and FUN! n__n Sometimes realism simply needs to be defenestrated.
