For some reason, as these lines bounced around in my brain, this picture came out. I don't really know why.... Maybe you can give me some insight?

Anywho, a quickie done while procrastinating on my Spanish homework. We had just had a test on The Aeneid earlier the day that I did the original sketch, and one of the questions had to do with the first several lines, so they were stuck in my head all day. It doesn't help that we're also translating the epic in Latin class right now.

Griffins are actually my favorite mythical creatures, but I'm sure you couldn't tell because I very rarely draw them. This is probably because I didn't like doing leonine creatures up until recently.

Oh well... back to homework, I guess.

(Ack, just realized that the title is really similar to the name of a popular webcomic. I didn't mean to do that, though; originally the title was "Griffin's Dirge," and then "Griffin's Euology," but "Griffin's Requiem" fit the best so I used that instead.)
