EDIT: I changed her top to look more like a sports bra, which is what it is. In the first upload it looked too much like a regular bra or bikini top, so I fixed that and re-uploaded it. Also, just in case you can't tell or you thought it was something else, her torso is wrapped in bandages.A sketch of my OC, Sam, from my sketchbook training. FIGHT-O!
I don't do any action poses with my artwork in general, but Sam and the other OCs of mine are going to be changing that.
Done with #2 mechanical pencil, cleaned and touched up in Painter X.

Good job with the dynamic posing. Very difficult to pull off.
But, might I lend an eye and a word of critique? I must say, her anatomy looks a little... off. I think her chest should be a little bit thinner, and her legs look just a little bit... stubby.
That aside, I like the energy portrayed in the piece. Still looks pretty cool. ^^

Yeah. I thought it would be cute to throw that in there and make it the name of the picture. They say it in anime to show enthusiasm towards doing something all the time so it seemed to fit.

The busting of the bag is more of an exaggeration to display the drive of the character to succeed. That she can actually punch a bag and break it is not likely, but we see this in anime all the time, where someone (usually a girl) gains superhuman strength for a moment in order to vent her anger or whatever. It's usually done for comedic value or effect.
While the emotions aren't exaggerated here or to display comedy, the busting of the bag subtly works under the same principle that raging anger does in the school girl.
In this case, the busting of the bag represents her desire and willpower. I hadn't thought to think of it this much, but these types of things are often subconscious anyways and are only discussed when it comes up.

To be honest, there's nothing special I'm doing. It's really just adding ears, a tail, a nose, and some fur. On the basic level, there really is no difference between how I've drawn humans and now anthros.
Also, I don't intend to make my characters any more "furry" than this so you're not likely to see a huge change from this type of style. I like the mostly human, but more than cat-girl look. The full furry does nothing for me at all, and on some levels it's creepy. Since cat-girls are not furries, I take it a little farther to make it more distinct.
Of course, with Sam's design and her species (fox) it's easier, but some species may be harder and will require more of the animal and less of the human. In those cases I'll have to make obvious exceptions and draw then so you at least know what animal they are.
