Description An ugly low quality polygonal model of Doll Tails (as seen in "Sonic R" PC version). The snapshots are low quality GIFs too. Unlike the one of Mirage, this one has only 8 frames. Lowest quality of low quality.

Anyway, I just made to model to use it in Quake 3 Arena. The crounching animation doesn't work, and the model has too much light in-game. I guess I need a better exporting plugin... Other than that, it's funny to use it. (Specially versus human players, if anyone kept playing Quake 3 Arena nowadays...)

"^1Doll Tails" is watching you...

whats quake 3 arena? sounds fun. I just pretty much finished my model for the game im making but he has no facial expressions so he looks like a guy in a rabbit suit. I wanted to add fur but my computer is a spaz and freaks out when I try to render it =/ I need to adjust the envelopes on the arms too. But I <3 3DS max XD

Don't tell me you don't know Quake 3 Arena? It's a classic for oldies like me... Oh, that explains it... It's a first person shooter game. You run around in closed maps (arenas) blasting your rival or rivals until you get X number of deaths. If you die, you respawn again. It's quite old now, so it doesn't require powerful graphic cards nor those fancy new computers (and should be easy to find somewhere around you).

And I used 3D Studio Max R3, so the closest to a fur effect I can make is adding planes with an alpha channel or a bunch of cones to make hair (which leeches a lot more from the computer). And because this one is done in pieces, I required no bones nor biped to animate it. Cheap and simple.

watching some of the videos on youtube and its making me think of UT XD how come you use a lower version of studio max?

Because it was the version I was able to get by then. I guess that Q3A and UT use the same game engine.
