Name: Oasis

Gender: none (they/them)

Species: Orikeiju (Land)

Ability: Make small plants grow and thrive in any area of a desert

Personality: gives off a regal and stoic demeanor, prefers to be around humans rather than other Orikeiju, becomes easily fixed upon singular things, has a one track mind, very quiet, protective

Bio: Oasis was not a name they chose, but a name they embraced. They were born within a desert oasis and orphaned by their parents. A fisherman from a nearby village within that same oasis found the newly born Oasis lying alone. The fisherman immediately took Oasis into his arms and brought them home. The name Oasis was given to them by the fisherman due to the fact they were found beside his village. The other villagers were astonished by the sight of an Orikeiju, as the people were isolated from the rest of the desert and never saw one before. The fisherman would then continue to care for them and train them, and the two became a great pair. Oasis would help the fisherman, well, fish; and they would both share what they were able to catch each day. From the fisherman's care, Oasis grew into a strong and robust adult Orikeiju, and a loyal one at that...

But one day their village was attacked by raiders, and the fisherman was robbed and killed. The village was then reduced to nothing but fire, debris, and the result of crime. After seeing all of this and mourning the death of their adopted father, they swore to themselves to be a protector of every good soul they found along their desert journeys. They now roam the desert lands, helping those in need and acting as a desert guardian. Every day they think of the old fisherman, the one they so loved most.
