The armor seems to look fine but the sword. Oh God the sword, first its too short, even for a short sword, second NO self respecting swordsman who had ever trained in the art of fencing would do the Hollywood mistake of sticking it in the ground like that. If you want a character to pose like that with a sword put it in the scabbard.

I appreciate the critique of the subject matter, however I was more looking for critique on the artwork itself rather than the subject matter. This would be good feedback if my intent was to make this a realistic piece, but it was more intended to be a fantasy piece than realistic. Imo your critique is a little bit misplaced given that this image wasn't really meant to be 100% realistic. Thank you for the feedback regardless!
