Follow up, I'll just get them all.

1: V - The Hierophant (Also known as "The Pope", which is what I see 1 as. The Hierophant is associated with authority, conservatism, and obedience to rules, all which are aspects of 1. He represents a church...but we soon see that it is a corrupted one.)

2: IX - The Hermit ("... an old man in a dark place or cave, holding up a lantern." Sound familiar? 2 is awesome, he's pretty much a definition for The Hermit too. The Hermit is one who goes off to seek some wise or philosophical thing, which is kinda what 2 is doing when we first meet him. He also serves as a mentor for 5, and he might've been the only one who really knew what to do...until he...)

3 and 4: XVIII - The Moon and XIX - The Sun (This one was actually the hardest to decide, we don't know much about them, so I decided to have a little fun and have one be the Moon and the other the Sun. Meaning being, they're childlike, sure, but there's a lot we don't know about them, creating a huge mystery for the two.)

5: VIII - Justice (This is normally a female, but 5 does sometimes have feminine qualities. I think the main thing is that 5 doesn't really want to choose sides in the movie, and even objects to 9 going out into the open, but he later decides to go with him. Seeing he's a guide, he also has the qualities of rationallity and analysis.)

6: XVII - The Star (Associated with hope, faith, altruism, luck, generosity, peace and joy which kinda goes with 6's character. 6 also carries a key around his neck, where in a deleted scene it's shown to open a chest that holds a note saying: "Hope". The Star also has some messian qualities, and prophic as well, which is also like 6's character. He gives his life trying to deliver his message to the others.)

7: XI - Strength (A woman who tames a beast....maybe the reason 7 wears a hawk mask? 7 displays the fairer side of battle, a stronger power of self-control, gentleness, courage and virtue over brute force...speaking of which...)

8: VII - The Chariot (I'm not sure there's much to explain, 8 is simply power...so let's move on to the final one.)

9: ZERO - The Fool (9 is a moron. I'm sorry, but I just have to say that. Seriously though, 9 always seems dangerously close to being killed but SOMEHOW manages to stay alive and in the end save everyone's souls...good that he did, it's HIS FAULT THEY ALL DIED IN THE FIRST PLACE. But I digress, the Fool represents pretty much everything, innocence, divine inspiration, madness, freedom, spontaneity, inexperience, chaos, and creativity...all of which 9 does seem to have, he even learns from all of it. Kinda like in Persona 3 and 4 where the Hero gets the power of Judgement, and The World in the end. What happens after the movie is unclear, but whatever happens is pretty much up to 9, being The World and all.)
