Description
This was taken some time ago, I found it while browsing through my folders, and I thought it was quite nice, since I like the idea, not to mention the colours.
This is my friend waiting for her train to go home with, it was after a day full of fun, photo fun I might add

This is really good. The white line on the platform leads the eye deeper into the picture. I love how your friend fills up the leftmost third of the picture, she really helps to anchor the picture, and gives the eye a strong focal point to begin at. I also really like how the picture takes you on a journey to the train in the background, it feels like you're going to join the girl on her journey

It was, wasn't it? The color, for me at least, evokes a bittersweet hope, as though getting on that train is an opportunity that shouldn't be missed, but a sadness like it's also the end of a chapter in the book that is the person's life

Yea, it can be booth. It was her journey home. Since we graduated I haven't seen her, and she was such a funny friend, I miss her

Aww~ thank you, I think it's good that you like it without knowing much about photo, since that makes the purpose of the photo a success
To give the viewer the wanted emotion/expression.
As for this photo in itself, I think it might be the harmony in it which is pleasing. That it does not tip over to the right, even though she's standing there. Also I think the colours matters too, can you imagine if it instead of being warm colours had been cold ones?
Then it would not be the same feeling any more (^^,)
