Here we have Christian Lenchik Vladimir, from my book Leave Me Here to Bleed.

"He was lean, almost stretched looking with long legs and arms, but also a thin torso to go along. He was not handsome, he was beautiful. Far too feminine in the face to ever be called handsome, his eyes were just too large, too heavily shaded with long dark lashes to be 'hunky'. He was pretty instead. His nose saved him from looking too effeminate, somehow making it obvious he was a boy, but without being the outstanding feature of his face. His hair was an unruly mass of shiny black curls that hung in his face that he frequently shook away. His posturing was something insecure: shoulders hunched forward, head down, he looked uncomfortable, or like he wanted nothing more than to be somewhere else at the moment."

I attempted to capture a lot of Christian in this simple drawing. I do love his hoodie, because it has the cat ears on it. He is a Vampire that can shapeshift, and his favored second form is that of a little black cat, so I just couldn't resist! He has his rosary because, despite being a Vampire 400+ years old, he never leaves home without it.
And Christian is described as having a larger nose. Note huge, but the characteristic on his face that saves him from looking too "feminine" but I struggled to draw that. I don't know how to draw noses in the first place, but then, to make tem look, well, Jewish (that's what he was before he died! Don't hit me!) without making it look stupid, is hard! So, yeah.

Christian has evolved in my recent edits. He went from Goth to Emo apparently, even though this is 1996 and "emo" doesn't exist yet.... basically he wears 80's pants that are tight because, well, he is dated. the pins are throwback to punk-80s as well as is the shirt. hmm.

I drew his legs really short on paper, (because I drew him too low and his feet would have ended off the page) so when I scanned it I lengthened his legs, but now, are they too long? He is supposed to be very lanky, all arms and legs with this skinny body, but I'm not sure if, like, his knees are too high, too low. I tweaked it for hours and this is what I got.
As poorly drawn as they are, I like his feet. They do almost look like he is supporting his weight on them and standing there. Almost.

Please be very honest with all critiquing. I am taking everything that is said and I'm attempting to apply it, and I can also edit and change things on this piece using my computer, so please, help me improve this.
