Wow I really like this! Ive recently have had an infinity with Lemons and wanted to do a couple of photos of them myself. What sort of lighting did you use?

i love the really deep acidic tones in this lemon, it looks sharp to taste just from the photo. the crop is really good...i really like how central the whole thing is. really good

wow, I really like that! It's very bright...personally I am not a fan of lemons...but this picture makes them look yummy, It almost makes me want to eat one...but I think I would seriously regret it if I did

yeah, i tend to just shoot. I don't set stuff up, so if there's a time i need lighting, (chasing a spider about my badly-lit bathroom) it's usually a desklamp.

was it a slice or a full half lemon? Might be worth trying it both ways. Perhaps with a slice (depending on the thickness) you'll be able to light it from an angle, and the light'll light up the fruit, through it.
I like this, although i'd like to see more detail.

It was a slice. I'm just using a rigged up desk lamp for lighting. At the very least I need to get a decent halogen one to use like this. Thanks for the advice!
