"Back and forth, back and forth," Noél muttered, a mantra he kept repeating as he worked with his partner to push the water toward one another, piggybacking on one another's effort to get the hang of the motion.

The water started tipping more and more toward his side of the bucket, throwing off his concentration a little bit as he fell behind. "Dude, chill, you're going too fast!" Noél exclaimed, biting his lip as he concentrated more, sparing a glance at Farren as he practically wrapped himself around the bucket, staring into the water with unnerving attention. The water didn't stop moving unevenly toward Noél, and more forcefully this time, he said, "Dude, relax! You're--"

During his lapse of concentration, Farren's magic overtook his, sloshing violently toward his side of the bucket and launching up and over the rim, straight into his face.

"DUDE!" Noél shouted, rubbing the water off himself as Farren hid sheepishly behind the bucket, muttering apologies. "Don't forget to pay attention to your surroundings too!" Noél grumbled. His grumpiness lasted only a moment before his mischievous side took over. Before Farren could react, he put all his effort into pushing the water toward Farren's side of the bucket, launching a small wave over the edge.

"There. Even," he smirked. Both burst into laughter for a few moments before settling down to practice once again.

Back and forth, back and forth.
