"I will never, ever turn my back on people who need me!"I wanted to make a sidebar image for my Avatar: The Last Airbender themed tumblr (paintedladyspirit), but I got a bit carried away. I like how it turned out though! The Painted Lady is in my top 10 episodes of A:TLA, so naturally I incorporated that. This is my first time trying to animate my random art, so hopefully it looks okay.
I love Katara because she is great and wonderful and deserves all praise. She's basically my role model in life. Hero status.

I really enjoy the color and simplicity in this. Watching it change is surprising and fun.
However, something seems strange to me about her chest. We see the beginning, but there's no line in the middle. It sort of throws me off, since she's nude we should see a line there. Also, the tattoos above her eyes detract from the wonderful expression you gave her.
all in all, though, I love this. It's very gorgeous!! I will definitely put it in as some inspiration.

I see what you mean, I guess I went for something more symbolic anatomically. I'm glad you like her expression! The face paint does hide it a bit, though.

Heh, you're welcome! It does look like it has a lot of symbolism, but again, if something is immediately off putting its best to change it. Her expression says a lot about her, too.
