Your traditional approach to this is refreshing, and the inclusion of your materials and methods is most interesting to read. The iconic photograph upon which this is based is well-served. The essence of the man who was Barnabas Collins is captured successfully in the expressive eyes with their crinkles and high-lighted pupils, extolling a surprising life-like quality bordering on excitable madness. The monster, he became, is well told in the irregularities of his fanged mouth. This is not a pretty-boy vampire with perfect teeth, but one who is unconventionally handsome, world-weary and wise--a man, first; vampire, second.
Your shading of his features is without fault, and he is immediately recognizable down to his cleft chin. There is enough darkness in this without it obscuring the subject; your subtle use of the varied numbers of "B" pencils is remarkable. The hair is finely textured with highlights reflecting a hidden light source. A somewhat luminous background, suggesting a fogginess, provides an eerie balance to the half-turned figure emerging from the shadows over the left shoulder. An excellent depiction of a much loved character.
