- So they said it was supposed to be somewhere here?
- Yup.
- Shouldn't be too long now...See there's that rock they told us about!
- About time, I thought the villagers were bullshitting us, it already sounded so ludicrous that it would be here out of all places. In such a populated place, I mean, a lot of traders pass this place everyday, you'd think someone would have found it already.
- Well lucky for them, huh.
- mmhm.
- So where did the villagers say we were supposed to place this gem?
- Right in that small hole, at the base of the rock.
- Huh, you'd think they wouldn't have gave away a gem like that so easy, thing looks like it could be worth a fortune
- Yeah, it probably would be, if it didn't have so many rumors circulating it.
- Oh yeah, like that one time someone supposedly turned into some kind of a demon after they placed the gem onto a necklace.
- Yeah, all the town criers went crazy from that rumor.
- Hey, guys, how deep do I have to put it in, this hole goes on forever.
- That's what he s... *slap*
- Shut up. Just place it as far as you can.
- It's in place, now what?
- We wait.

The three men waited until nightfall near the rock, resting against a lonesome tree.

- Shh, you hear that?
- Hear what?
- That rumbling.
- Could that mean ...
- Yes.
- About time! I thought it would never come!

The men rose up as the rumbling grew increasingly louder. With a loud crash the earths crust opened up and something unexpected rose from the depths of the pit.

- What the hell is that! They didn't say it was going to be that big! I thought it was going to be smaller, like the rest of them!
- It certainly is a little bit bigger than they said.
- Ha, the bigger the better, I did have some spare room atop my fireplace!
