This was so fun! One of my favorite projects I’ve done
Update: I've gotten a lot of requests from people to cosplay these designs. If you would like to do so, feel free! I just ask that you credit me as the designer if you post photos online ^^ (and if you do post photos, I'd love to see them, so send me a link if you think of it!

It's interesting, Zelda naming her son after Link and Link naming his daughter after Zelda? (If that ever happened) I don't know. I got nothing.

Okay, I really like this. I may try to make this into actual costumes once I'm satisfied with my traditional Link costume. Very well done, I don't typically see role reversals or redesigns that I really like.

Of course I will let you know if I do! It may not be anytime soon though, I still have to finish two other costumes. But this is definitely on my list of "Costumes That'd be Fun to Do"

it would make way more sense if Link was the Prince, and Zelda was the Heroine. Since it's legend of Zelda, but it should've been Legend of Link because Link is the Hero, and Zelda is the Princess.

This would be so freaking awesome. Zelda going on this massive adventure to save Link. I wish Nintendo had released Hyrule Warriors on more then just Wii U... Always wanted to play Zelda

We didn`t even have to answer, because the other one nearly screamed "No, that`s totally Heroine Zelda! Or why are you thinking Prince Link is standing beside her?!" "What, PRINCE Link?" It was really funny

I'd call it *dramatic drum roll*... The Legend of Zelda: The Missing Link.
It's set in a "lost" timeline (lost in Hyrule's history books, anyway, which implies it's non-canonicity). It's a story where the Triforce of Courage is passed on to a young Hylian peasent bearing the name Zelda, who is destined to protect the alternate Hyrule and it's kingdom, known as the Hylian Hierarchy in this timeline. Soon after, the Gannon/Gannondorf (who was exiled for previously plotting a coup d'etat against the royal family years ago using the Triforce of Power) of this timeline plots to claim the Heirarchy for himself by eliminating the current ruler (an unamed king or queen) and attempting to assassinate the heir and last blood relative to the throne, Prince Link, who also possesses the Triforce of Wisdom. Link initially escapes Gannon/Gannondorf's attempt on his life, but is betrayed by a rogue Hylian noble that is loyal to Gannondorf and hands the Prince over to him. While Link remains in captivity planning his escape and eventual revenge on Gannondorf, Zelda sets out on her quest to restore the balance of power to the Heirarchy by rescuing the Prince and to ensure future peace and prosperity by returning all three Triforces to the Heirarchy once Gannondorf and his allies are defeated...

A Zelda game with this type of scenario would most likely take place in an alternate universe of Hyrule (most likely the creation of ANOTHER timeline), but hey I wouldn't mind playing a Zelda game like this.
