Description This is a 3d dragon which was done way back in 2002 as a final project assignment. Still looks okay, but I'm not too happy with his head in general.

how do you get the wings to fold all smooth like that!?

It took a while adjusting the rigging, especially the envelopes and weights around the wings.

Looks pretty good It's been a while since I 3d modeled something. I've never used 3ds but I have used Maya. Seems like 3ds is popular for games and Maya is popular for other stuff...but I learned Maya even though I was doing games (mainly because 3ds didn't have a free learning version). Nice work though. Try modeling again soon. It's always great to see how much detail you can cram into models. One of these days you or I might even be able to make decent artwork combining 3d with 2d

That's cool! Sometime in the future I'll be working on 3D things in college, and if I have the spare time I can make my own 3D here, I have the program to do it and I may start using it earlier than we may think.

I have Maya 5.0 (an actual copy of Maya) but I haven't got the chance to really figure things out. WHat 3D program are you using currently using?

It's not that hard, just time-consuming. I really want to model a better dragon someday...someday
