To be honest, I really dislike the newest series. Nothing against Matt Smith, or any other cast member, but it's just so ridiculously far fetched and stupid, especially comparing it to the previous seasons.
I don't know though, that's just my opinion, but I know a lot of people like the new season so eh.

I'm not really a fan of Matt Smith either; and true some of the episodes have been a bit... missing something, but come on! It's Doctor Who! It's always going to be a bit "farfetched and stupid" xD

I do! But it's just too far-fetched, even for Doctor Who. Like, there's no consistency in the episodes anymore. I don't know, I just prefer the older style more.

It's kind of hard to explain, seeing as it's more of my preference, but just the whole storyline seems messed up because everyone's become somehow related to each other, and now they're just throwing in random monsters like snowmen and what not.
Plus (again, nothing against Matt Smith) the eleventh regeneration is a lot more immature than the previous regenerations, and it just seems like he's a whole other person; like he's no longer the doctor. D;
