Description
I have been a fan of the game "T´ai Fu - Wrath of the Tiger" since it came out in the 90´s. And I´ve played it so many times. And it has often given me great inspiration to my art. So yeah, I have been crazy about anthro-characters my entire life
This tiger is very much inspired by T´ai Fu, so I pretty much drew him in my style. Trying out some more sharp lines than usual. There´s a burning village in the background. It is up to the viewer to decide the story behind that
Drawn with ink and acrylic paint.
Worktime: around 3 - 3½ hours.

Yeah, my family grew up with a playstation when it first came out, and that was one of my favorite games. I love early-mid 90s video games, everything seems like a movie with a controller to me with modern video games today.

Tai fu is a game that came for PlayStation in 1999. It´s about kungfu fighting animals. The main character Tai Fu (The tiger) is fighting against several animal clans, and in the end he´s going to fight the Dragon Master. It´s the best game I´ve ever played, and will always be my favourite

You are? Oh yeah, I remember him. It´s difficult I remember, but did you remember to use/combine all the combos Tai Fu learned? When the dragon is getting close to you, use the Tiger´s attack in his face. And then escape/move around to avoid getting attacked by him

Oh my God! This piece of fanart jogged my memory! I remember noticing an advertisement of Tai Fu on the back of another game's manual back when I was a kid, but I never saw it in gameshops or learnt more about it until now...
Anyway, this piece of fanart is extremely detailed and has incredible anatomy. Well done!

Tai Fu has always been my total favourite game! My biggest wish is that they would re-release it, or at least create something with the same concept. It sure was an awesome game.

Actually, now that you mention it, I am beginning to think that Tai Fu was one of the main influences for Kung Fu Panda hence both products were made by Dreamworks.

I remembered that game, was fun while it lasted ^^, the ending credits must have been the most prototype way to keep the interest of the player on the game even if you had seen the ending.
