I try to give my villagers the presents that they want, but they keep on changing what they want everytime I talk to them. So when I give them their gifts on Toy Day they say that they didn't ask for it.

Did a new villager move in? That's what happened to me. Two days before Toy Day , I talked to all of them to get their gift requests. On Toy Day Eve, Bluebear moved in. I talked to Jingle, he gave me the bag and it had NOTHING that they firstly requested.
