I recently undertook a little project to try creating my favorite locomotive, Central Pacific #173, in HO scale. Now, I have taken some liberties with the livery (i.e. it is in the Lilly Belle's scheme, and says Sonoma on the cab instead of 173), however I think those changes are acceptable. I am currently on the hunt for some brass brake cylinders/feet for the drivers, and once I add those the model will be basically completed, aside from one or two more very minor changes not many people would ever notice.

Please excuse the kitchen in the background, this is just the brightest lit room in the house and so I took the opportunity to grab some photos while I could.
