Samus also is nowhere near planet buster level. Every planet she was ever on that got destroyed, was because of either an event that set of a time bomb or chain reaction, or from being corrupted by some kind of power source or infection. Therefore she herself, judging by actual suit and weapon feats, is nowhere even remotely close to having the ability to affect an entire planet. It doesn't take someone above elementary school education to figure out something that simple.

For the Samus wankers who always significantly overestimate Nintendo characters just because of how over hyped their games are, read Everything from armor to skills en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Man⦠. Someone like Samus is mere child's play for Iron Man.

Forgive me if I make any mistakes as I don't have much knowledge of ironman but here goes.
After reading through the links the only category I saw a clear advantage in was his raw lift capacity at 150 tons (not the most applicable feat in a fight) and Samus's default suit has taken heavier force loads (granted over her whole suit) and survived in the unlikely event he gets in a melee attack.
Speed is harder to judge for both cases (and both show some sketchy science, who designs a rocket to reach escape velocity? that's the speed to go to space WITHOUT the mentioned rocket aiding you -.-) I know Samus has achieved bullet catches with a mix of speed, reaction time and voodoo bs *cough* *cough* precognition and can't recall any similar feats from Ironman but fill me in if you know of some.
Firepower, considering weak weaponry in the metroid universe is measured in terrawatts and personal missiles are compared to nukes, I'm inclined to give Samus the edge on raw firepower. While the antimatter weapon sounds like it's actually capable of hurting/killing Samus, she gets antimatter weaponry as well, and it pails in comparison to her hyper beam but given that she's only one time had temporary access to the hyper beam I don't think it should be used here.
In terms of defense I don't know much about what Ironman faces, but unless nukes are something he can tank dozens of with ease he's in a speck of trouble. Samus on the other hand has tanked numerous beams far beyond terrawatts and survived forces estimated around 60 of the largest elephants in the world combing their deliberate crushing power all while in her WEAKEST suit.
In terms of tactics both are brilliant but the scan visor gives Samus an advantage in a open field 0 prep time fight to the death.

nice, that would be a dope ass fight. Iron-Man would probably work Metroid pretty hard until Tony finds out shes a total babe. I bet it's hard to 'adjust' in that suit.

I'm sure with the flick of the wrist the whole suit turns into a kingsize bed with a few bottles of wine any time he needs it to.

thanks, I would say that I'd like Samus to win, she's much faster and a bit more versatile but IronMan has too many "end all be all" moves.
