WHY MUST VALVE'S CHARACTERS BE SO HARD TO DRAW ;_;

This took many hours of "WTF NO I DREW THIS WRONG NOW I GOTTA ERASE AND REDRAW IT"

*ahem* I am rather proud of this one, even though the scanner ate a lot of the shading.. I guess you'd have to see it in person to really appreciate it

Anywho, this is where DOG tosses Gordon and Alyx into the citadel, in an old van.

THIS IS AMAZING!

Seriously, this is such a wonderful drawing The amount of detail you put into this is wonderful, from the hair to the suit to the van and so forth. And the characters are so spot-on, especially Dog! I especially love Gordon's face, I know that's the face I made when this happened in the game XD

Wow,very nice!You did all of their expressions really well...even D0g's,lol!

You managed to soften the eyes on both Alyx and Gordon from what they are on the official art to a really good effect--they don't look more intense than is necessary here,heh!And the way D0g's head flaps are tilted back is just right to convey his trying to please them.He really looks kind of dog-like!

It's funny how expressive he is for a robot,huh?If you watch the videos on YouTube of Gabe Newell talking to some focus groups about the potential Deaf character in Ep3,he mentions Wall-E as something they're trying to emulate!

sometimes I end up doing it too dark then he looks dirty xD but I just try to lightly shade in until it looks ok
but yes, so many a-page have I messed up with dreaded eraser marks....
