Zs'Scayr was the high Ecto-Lord of his home world, Anur Phaetos. One day an alien space craft crashed onto the planet and the pilot was a Chimera Sui Generis name Myaxx who was collecting DNA samples for an advanced Galven technology called the "Omnitrix". Zs'Scayr offered his assistance and aided Myaxx across the galaxy to collected DNA samples, potentially stealing the Omnitrix for more power. One day on the planet Flors Verdance (Wildvine's home world), Zs'Scayr possessed a nearby Florauna and Myaxx scanned the DNA of that Florauna and thereby trapping Zs'Scayr within the Omnitrix database. Once the Omnitrix was founded by a human named Ben Tennyson, Zs'Scayr's DNA sample was available for Ben to use, calling this transformation Ghostfreak. For a while Ben started acting strange whenever he turned into Ghostfreak, even up to the point where he was no longer in control of the alien, once he timed out, the two entities seperated and Zs'Scayr was finally free from the Omnitrix, although not quite as he was only a DNA sample being used as an avatar, he needed to bond with the Omnitrix in order to become whole again. After a death defying battle, Ben used his quick thinking to exploit Zs'Scayr's true weakness, sunlight. Once he was exposed he was dead forever, or so we thought...
