Absolutely! I headcanon that the only reason why Bashir took so long to visit Garak was because he was so busy helping to coordinate medical help efforts sent to Cardassian space, and explaining that, no, Cardassians probably won't be easy to medicate because they're terrified that alien doctors would poison them or finish the genocide.

Yeah, I can totally see that being the case. The Cardassians were definitely touchy about outside help haha. Also, if you read A Stitch In Time, I really respect Garak saying that he didn't want Bashir visiting until Cardassia had at least one foot back on the ground. He wanted to show off his world to his friend, not be embarrassed by it. However, I like to think Bashir came to help a bit regardless, maybe while Garak was in that med unit, if for a short time. Maybe as just a friend, not as a starfleet officer though so he wasn't representing Federation presence (should've changed him out of uniform haha!).

I very much think that the Dominion War greatly affected relationships, and that when peace returns, there is hope yet that Garak and Julian rekindle their romance (although Julian gotta share Garak with Kelas, and Pythas to some extent)
Julian would look so dashing in Cardassian clothes with a broad neck.

I hardcore ship Garak/Parmak lol, but I'm kind of hoping that Bashir canonizes the Cardassians' relationship and approves and supports them, and there isn't jealousy involved or anything.

I believe Garak and Parmak are very much living together when Garak is writing ASIT, and I headcanon that Kelas persuaded Garak to talk to Kel because she's his daughter and Kelas thinks they could use each other, although Garak is terrified because he doesn't want to end up being a shit dad like Enabran, to which Kelas has to remind him that he's more a Garak than a Tain. I imagine that there wouldn't be much jealousy between Kelas and Julian, but surely a deal of insecurity for a while, until they start to get to know each other better.
And yes, do all the drawings!

OK, I still have to watch the last seasons of DS9, so that I've got no idea what this is actually about (beside very happy reunions), but I really LOVE it. Especially the Sisko's

Haha, I hope you do watch them someday! This is just that, honestly; everyone goes their separate ways at the end of the series, and it was too bittersweet for me not to eventually draw a happy reunion lol.

Aww This is so beautiful and heartwarming. I like the watercolor-like effect you did with the shading and those peaceful stars along the top as Julian greets Garak on Cardassia. And the Sisko reunion! I'm glad he's giving Jake his long-awaited welcoming hug. It's giving me those DS9 feelings again.

<3 I started reading some post-canon DS9 novels (finally...haha) and just fell in love with the series all over again. I felt a lot like these characters in the painting as I rewatched some episodes!! It had been several years. Thanks for your kind words.
