My Little Ponies from G1. All from Paradise Estate I believe.I opted for the head shots because if I stuck the bodies in there it would have looked like a toy box exploded.
Besides there wasn't much room for any bodies.
I'm pleased with how this turned out.
Even the Twinkle-Eyed ones looked good. I was a bit worried about how their eyes would look (yes, some eyes are suppose to look like gems x3).
The colors ended up fantastic. I was worried about the outlining, but it too ended up looking good.
Can you figure out who all the ponies are? xD

Nicely done. I especially like the work you did on Sky Dancer, Firefly and Locket. (LOL They're all pegasi 
Personally I like both but the G4 fanbase is really annoying. Half of the fans don't let you enjoy the series especially if you're watching G1. -_-;
I think their names are Sky Dancer, Ribbon, Gusty, Powder, Firefly, Galaxy, Masquerade, Sweet Stuff, Whizzer, Gingerbread, Locket, Buttons, and I'm not sure but I think that's baby Ribbon. I mostly know them from the show. I only had one toy and I never know her name.

I'm in my late 20's and G1's will always be my favourite. I like ten of the ponies in your picture, my absolute favourite is Galaxy though. I love twinkle eyed ponies, never found them creepy. I guess I just thought it was original/magical. Maybe it's the colouring in the show but I thought twinkle eyed ponies were exotic.

Since nobody else has taken on the challenge yet, I’ll do it - no looking anything up. Starting on the outside ring of ponies, the blue unicorn with green and red hair, going clockwise: Ribbon, Gusty, Powder, Sweet Stuff, Whizzer, Uh...I forget, Buttons, Locket, Cupcake, Skydancer, and the inside three staring with the purple one, Ember, Galaxy and Masquerade.
Darn it, who is the rainbow haired blue unicorn. Dang it all I can't even remember her symbol. Starflower?

But Cupcake is close (very close) and the other one does look like an Ember.

Gingerbread and um... uh... Twinkler? I have a sparkley all purple pegasus named Twinkler and that's all I can think of at the moment. Was she in the show?

Well, I don't saw them closer. I don't hate, but in my opinion, they are boring. They were made for girls in age 3-9 years. And those new are just for everyone. It's a comedy.

I think the G1 ponies are incredibly funny.
I didn't grow up in the 80s, but I think the things they say and their "80s Way of Looking at Things" is funny.
And the G4 ponies are based off them.
So if you love G4 ponies you need to have respect for g1 ponies.

well, I saw a one episode from g1. Maybe they are fun, for child. I don't say no. And I know from where spikes came from. He looks similar like a character from episode dragon slayer. I hope that, in new series we can't see humans.
Well, I loved this style of MLP g4 because. Characters, scenario and graphic are very similar like powerpuff girls's style. And I love a jokes with a second secret meaning in both of those productions. In series before all ponies vere just "cute" And here they have their own personality.

I guess that's just me.
I do have to admit though, the humans made the show kind of "ugh". Like I just don't think my little ponies and humans mix. Its kind of weird.
I think that has to do with the fact that in the G1 show there were SO MANY different ponies that it was hard to develop their personality. Like they tried to focus on all of them not just two or three. Where in g4 there's a lot, but they focus on a handful of main ones. So there was plenty of room to develop them all. If that makes sense.
I do love the way they're drawn though.
Its so cute. I've drawn in that style *pokes other work* and I color in that style.

Enough people love G1, so you don't have to worry about defending it. 
I recognise Parasol, Gingerbread, Ribbon, Firefly, Galaxy, Powder, Sweetstuff, Buttons, Masquerade, Starflower, Gusty and Speedy. I think those are correct!
