Description An array of unrelated problems + a whole near complete failed version that had little to no potential later... And , at long last, the second one of the whole set is in place.

Continuing from thegreatmc.deviantart.com/art/… , Behemoth had to be done at one point. Problem is, conceptualizing a monstrous oceanic entity is a child's play compared to trying do the same with something land based. Behemoth has a tremendous amount of wonderfully detailed contemporary depictions... yet literally none were working for me - as I wanted a direction that would produce something that would be hard on eyes yet simulatenously wouldn't jingle that sparse amount of basic biological knowledge that still rests in my head.

So I made an organical tank with two fronts moving independently.

As for the inspiration... because even the most internalized concept feeds on what the open world provides...

-a good deal has been farmed from the medieval depictions of devil and related beastiary. I remember how some of these illustrations made me feel uneasy throughout the early childhood, so I figured that some of it can still be salvaged

-eyes have been farmed from Junji Itou's creations, as it seems to be the pinnacle in that regard.

-and a ton of possible other paths that I cannot yet indentify properly.

Making Ziz to complete the set is going to be even harder than that.

Looks like the Almighty offspring of a living machine and a castle

That is an interesting take on the idea - mine was more of a trial and error, with one failed artwork along the way.

Great drawing, it is nice that you keep making art my good friend. What is the relation between this and the bible story?

...That God unleashed such monstrosities upon the world for a brief time just because he could? Errr... I mean... in an act of everlasting benevolence, wisdom and love of creation! YES!

Do you believe that God could be bad? I mean, we used to believe that, he is the eternal light of true customs, and the path we should follow, but what if he is not the one we imagine, that explains why we have so many weird stuff on our planet?

Little experiment, if you please;

If deviantART's search engine as of now REALLY takes commentary input into account to enable for actual placement of the submission on the site map....
